In this course, we're going to follow a 4-step process for Effective Delegation that will help you determine:



• WHAT you can and should delegate.
• WHO you should delegate it to.
• HOW to delegate, provide support, and how much authority to delegate.
• WHEN to check in and monitor progress along the way to ensure success.
• As a leader, delegation is not something you do on top of your regular job. Delegation is a fundamental part of your job.

• Second we’ll share some strategies and tactics to help your team develop and sustain a culture of healthy conflict.

In this course we are going to focus on three specific objectives in the context of individual virtual working relationships:

• First, we’ll highlight the importance of being mindful of your own emotions, and how you manage them, amidst whatever challenges you may be facing in the virtual context.
• Second, we’ll look at strategies for strengthening your listening skills as you work with remote team members.
• And third, will explore options for responding appropriately, across a range of emotions.
  

In this course, we’re offering basic skills and techniques for those who want to facilitate effective virtual meetings within their own organization.

This is not a “professional facilitation skills” training. Rather, this course is for Senior Leaders, Supervisors, Team Leads, Project Managers, and really any staff member who wants to help make your organization’s virtual meetings more effective

When it comes to leading in a virtual environment, you’ll have to forget a LOT of what you know about leading in a colocated world. Leading effectively in a virtual context is a whole new challenge! 

In this course we cover:

• Building Resilience: Recognizing and managing stress in yourself and others in order to find a sustainable pace as you encounter a variety of pressures.
• Setting Healthy Boundaries: Defining “what’s OK and what’s Not OK” in the various relationships in our lives.
• Establish and Live Out Healthy Daily Habits: These daily activities that bring oxygen into our stressful situations and help keep us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually balanced.
  

This course will help you:

• Examine the different leadership roles you may be in when it comes to the changes you’re experiencing.
• Develop strategies for surviving change when it’s overwhelming and chaotic, as well as, implementing a change if that’s your role.
• Utilize tools for diagnosing and treating resistance - in yourself and in others.

It doesn’t take much to see that we have major challenges communicating across differences. Here’s the problem: At some point, we will have differences with everyone!

If we don’t learn how to courageously initiate effective communication across differences, then we’re left with the only option of increasing division and decreasing capacity to work together effectively to achieve results.

Being a leader means that it's your responsibility to both take the initiative to learn about and understand the big picture around you, and it's also your responsibility to explain that big picture to others.
